Leahy, Phillip, farmer, Section 12 (Fairfield township); PO Brush Creek; owns 100 acres of land, valued at $3,000; born in Ireland in 1839, emigrated to America in 1863, settling in Oneida Co., NY, where he married Maggie Loffan; she was born in Ireland in 1843; Timothy, born Jan. 1870; Annie, born July 29, 1872 and Michael, born Nov. 28, 1876 are their children. Mr. L. settled on his present farm in Nov., 1876. Is a Democrat; Catholic.
