Looking for birth mother

My husband was born in Emmet county in August 1950. His birth mother put him up for adoption soon after birth. She was very young when she had him. She also had a daughter born in 1957 that she put up for adoption. This adoption was thru a private firm. My husbands was thru the Lutheran Church. He has been able to connect with his blood sister and now they want to find out more about the mother. So any help would be greatly appreciated. All we know is that the mother was in high school at the second birth and could have dropped out. And the 2 baby was born in Spirit Lake.
