In my last reply I erroneously put an "s" in place of the "n".
I want to add that a Wilbur Vernon Hankins died 26 Sep 1898 in Center Township of inflamatory rheumatism. He was single, about 15/16 years old. He was born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Names of his parents were not given, but he was probably a son of John W. Hankins. Info from Emmet County Death Record book 2, page 1.
