Elling Oleson family

I am looking for information on Elling Oleson who was married to Ellen/Ella/Elise... Anderson who was a sister to Gilbert (Gulbrand)Anderson. He and his family moved from Lafayette Co IA about 1875 to the Dickinson/Emmett County IA area. I finally found Elling's obit in the Spirit Lake Beacon in 1900. The mystery is his wife, she can be found in the 1870 census before they moved but Elling is a widow by the 1880 census in Iowa. His obit says that he was buried in the Superior Cem. but can find nothing on the death of his wife. His son Henry and Sever worked around the Esterville area as carpenters. But can find very little on Elling and Ellen. Neither are listed in the cemetery (at least no stones). Their daughter, my g-grandmother Tilda married Hans C. Johnson son of John and Mary Arneson of Emmet Co. I have the Arneson branches back to Norway as well as Ellen Andersdtr Rakkestad (and Gilbert) family back to Norway. Their parents came to the US but can find no record of them here. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated. I have years of information collected so willing to share whatever I have (which is a lot) except the mystery of Ellen Oleson and just last year finally found Elling's obit. Thank you
