ESTHERVILLE - Mrs. Edmond (Sophie Louise) Peters, 54, Estherville, was found dead at her home in Estherville Tuesday [June 13, 1978].
Services for Mrs. Peters will be 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Estherville, with Father Albert O. Grendler officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
A Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville. Friends may all at the funeral home until time of services.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haase, she was born March 2, 1924, in Wabaunsee County, Kan. She received her education in Kansas and took training as a registered nurse at Topeka, Kan
She was married to Edmund Peters on Aug. 3, 1946, at Topeka and the couple lived there until 1951, when they moved to Sibley. They moved to Estherville in 1955, where Mrs. Peters worked as a register nurse at various times at Holy Family Hospital. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Peters is survived by her husband, Edmund, Estherville; 10 daughters, Mrs. James (Danna) Zimmerman, Topeka, Mrs. David (Susan) Pollen, Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, Mrs. Norman (Linda) Crader, Topeka, Mrs. Harvey (Paula) Schulman, Der Park, Texas, Shelly Peters Cedar Falls, Mrs. Steve (Katie) Wegener, Graettinger, Mrs. Nancy Scott, Spencer, Jenny Peters, Mary Peters, both of Estherville; her mother, Mrs. Ellen Haase, Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Jean Fritzler, Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Florence Coleman, Mount Vernon, Ind.; and two brothers, Calvin Haase, St. Mary's Kan., and Edwin Haase, East Brunswick, N.J.
