Both families came to Emmet county in 1898 and are highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends. Mrs. Albee leaves a husband, one brother and her parents, to all of whom she was most tenderly attached.

She experienced religion in 1895 and shortly thereafter united with the Presbyterian church. Especially of late her trust in her Savior had been evident and exemplary. The funeral services were held from the home in Iowa Lake township, Thursday, June 20, conducted by Rev. R.A. Harwood of Dolliver. The services were very largely attended. Touching tributes of sympathy and affection were numerous, while an experience of heartbreaking sorrow was chastened by the triumph of Christian faith and resignation.
