Final Rites of Saturday
Funeral services for Arthur Barlow, 63, Estherville, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Union Baptist Church in Estherville, Rev. Rawlin Johnson officiating.

Mr. Barlow died at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital from a heart condition. He had been hospitalized for the past two months.

Arthur David Barlow was born Sept. 17, 1902, at Wallingford to Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Barlow. He received his education in the Estherville community schools and had lived in the Estherville area for most of his life.

He had been employed by the city for 30 years.

He was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Milton of Estherville, Carl of Dunnell, Minn.; and four sisters, Mrs. Corry Haas, Mrs. Louis Hoffmeyer, Mrs. Joe Sifrit, all of Estherville and Mrs. Pete Keane of Las Vegas, Nev., and his mother, Mrs. J. L. Barlow of Estherville.

Family services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Saturday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state. The casket will not be opened following the service.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 20, 1966)
