Jessie Blanche Ridley Dead

Passed Away Last Saturday Afternoon at Two O’clock
After an illness of several months Jessie Blanche Ridley passed into the Great Beyond at her home on north Seventh street Saturday afternoon about two o’clock. Deceased was born at the Emmet House in this city, March 12, 1879. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. R. [Ridley] ---- [missing line] are the only immediate relatives left to mourn. They are: George I. Ridley, of San Francisco, Cal., Roy E. Ridley and Mrs. L. V. Cranston, of this city.

Funeral services were conducted at the late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by her pastor, Rev. J. Frederick Catlin, of the Baptist church, who returned from Iowa City where he was on his vacation to perform the sad rites. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery by the side of a twin brother, who died in infancy.

Deceased had a large circle of warm friends in this city who will join us in extending genuine sympathy to the bereaved relatives in the loss of one so dear.
