B. S. Ringham Dead.

On last Sunday evening [November 16, 1913] at about six o'clock Bringle S. Ringham passed suddenly from this life, while asleep [at his home on North 4th Street.] Mr. Ringham had not enjoyed the best of health for some time, but seemed to have no especial complaint, and had been at work every day. After eating a hearty meal at noon he went into the bedroom at about three o'clock to take a nap. At six o'clock, when called to supper, he made no response, and on investigation it was discovered that he had passed from this life sometime during the afternoon.

The deceased was an old resident, having lived here the past twenty-five years and was well known as a quiet hard working citizen. He leaves a wife [Barbara] and seven children to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate husband and father. Funeral from the Norwegian Lutheran church this afternoon. Deceased was about 60 years of age. His brother, I. S. Ringham, a former resident here, but now of Hopkins, Minnesota, arrived Monday and is assisting the family in their time of bereavement. [Burial was in the Norwegian cemetery in Estherville.]

Note: Bringle Ringham was born October 5, 1852 in Norway to Sjur and Martha Bringlesen. He died of diabetes mellitus at the age of 59 years, 1 month, 11 days according to Emmet County, Iowa Death Records.
