ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Inga C. Hubbard, 89, of Estherville will be at the Estherville Lutheran Church in Estherville on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Susan Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Estherville Lutheran Cemetery in Estherville. She passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at her home in Estherville.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville.

Inga Cathlin Hubbard, the daughter of John C. and Johanna (Lavold) Larsen was born January 19, 1916 on a farm near Wallingford, Iowa. She passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005 at her home in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 89.

She attended Wallingford schools and Graettinger High School.

On May 27, 1932 she was united in marriage to Clayton M. Hubbard. Following their marriage the couple lived in Estherville. They moved to Vancouver, Washington where she worked at Kaiser Shipyards as a welders helper during World War II. They returned to Estherville where she worked for Butterfield Produce and then with her husband in the Construction Business until his death in 1964. Inga was employed with Holy Family Hospital in the Diet Kitchen and Cafeteria for 30 years until she retired. Inga enjoyed spending summers at Okoboji, Iowa and winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.

She was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church, Charter member of Sons of Norway, member of the V.F.W. Auxilary, Sarah Circle and E.L.C.W. Inga also taught Sunday School for 30 years and for several years took care of children in the church nursery with Edna Moritz.

Left to cherish Inga's memory is her daughter, Marilyn Anderson of Estherville; her son, John Hubbard of Lake Park, Iowa; grandchildren, Lynnae Anderson; Larry Anderson and his wife, Julie; Linda Nagel and her husband, Mark; Lance Anderson and his wife, Carrie; Lee Anderson; Great Grandchildren, Brian Anderson; Eric Anderson; Clayton Nagel; Lee Nagel; Brynne Anderson; Alex Anderson; great great-granddaughter, Abbi Anderson; Step great-grandchildren, Lisa Gearde and Brian Gearde and Step great-great grandson, Benjamin; brother-in-law, Ronald Schenck; sisters-in-law, Ruth Yates and Evelyn Larsen and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She has been preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Lester and Trygve Larsen, son-in-law, Bruce Anderson; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
