RITES THURSDAY FOR MRS. HERUM
HIGH LAKE WOMAN DIED MONDAY

Mrs. Jacob Herum of High Lake township died yesterday morning [Jan. 2, 1933] at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:30 at the Joe Herum home and at 1 o'clock in the Wallingford church. Rev. Peder Nordsletten will officiate.

Mrs. Ina Herum, 57, died at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 2 at the home of her son, Joe Herum, who lives east of Wallingford. She had been suffering from a tumor on the brain which resulted in paralysis.

Ina Bauge was born Feb. 7, 1875. She taught school for several years. She was married in 1896 to Jacob Herum. They lived on a farm near High Lake from the time of their marriage until the time of the death of her husband seven years ago. She then moved to Estherville. A few months ago she was taken to her son's home.

She is survived by five children: Percy of Dolliver, Joe and Raymond of Wallingford and Robert and Margaret of Estherville. She also has five sisters and several brothers.
