C. H. HANSON DIES SATURDAY

Clarence Henry Hanson, 77, Estherville died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 1972, at Rosewood Manor where he had been a resident for three years.

He was born March 5, 1895 at Graettinger []Palo Alto County, IA], the son of Carl and Henrietta Hanson.

He received his education in the Graettinger schools and on April 19, 1918, he was married to Clara Barton at Graettinger.

Shortly after their marriage they moved to Estherville where he was employed as a machinist on the Rock Island Railroad.

Mr. Hanson was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Graettinger.

His wife preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 1964.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Dorothy) Spoo, Jackson, Minn.; Mrs. Calvin (Bernice) Lenox, Gaylord, Minn.; Mrs.. Vincent (Wanda) Marr, Estherville; Mrs. LeRoy (Beunita) Dye, Anaconda, Mont.; Mrs. Lester (Pauline) Krie, Madison, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reese-Henry Funeral chapel with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be grandson, Dennis Eades, Craig Marr, Terry Marr, Reggie Spoo, Duane Spoo and Larry Spoo.
