MRS. GRAFF, 53, DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS
Life - Long Resident of This VicinityMrs. John Graff, 53, of Estherville died last night [July 1 1941] at 8:15 at the Graff farm home southwest of Estherville after a long illness. Mrs. Graff had been confined to her bed since last November.
She was born June 3, 1888, at Wallingford, [Charlotte Ovelia Skattebo] the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Knute Skattebo. Most of her life has been spent in Emmet county. She was married on Dec. 25,1908, to John Graff. The couple, with their family, lived in the same community all their married life except for one year spent at Sherburn, Minn.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Harold Graff and Andrew Graff, both of Estherville, and four brothers, Lloyd Skattebo, Clarence Skattebo, Francis Skattebo and Arthur Skattebo, all of Wallingford. Mrs. Graff was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the home and 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Church of Christ. The Rev. Fred Sawyer will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
