Alvie Glasnapp, Ringsted Farmer Succumbs at 41

RINGSTED--Alvin Glasnapp, 41 year-old farmer living seven miles northwest of here, died at 2 p.m. yesterday at Holy Family hospital at Estherville following surgery for ulcers with which he had suffered for a number of years.

He was born Dec. 1, 1915 at Lytton, Ia., and was married to Pearl Christiansen of Ringsted at the Little Brown church at Nashua.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Glasnapp of Ringsted, his wife, and three children, David, 17; Kay, 13; and Donald, 4.

Brothers Walter and Vern live at Ringsted and Richard at Yetter, Ia. Sisters are Mrs. Arthur Bonnicksen of Rochester, Mrs. Hugo Lauck of Minneapolis and Mrs. Raymond Sprague of Santa Clara, Calif.

Funeral services haven been tentatively set for Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran church here with the Rev. George Talleson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Ringsted Community cemetery.
