Mrs. Enerson Rites Held on Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. E. J. (Emma) Enerson, 83, who died May 18, 1973, were held at 12:30 p.m. today (Monday) in Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stanley Eyberg officiating. Interment was made in East Side Cemetery. Reese-Henry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Enerson died at 2:30 a.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Center, Estherville, where she had been residing since January of this year.

She was born Jan. 11, 1890, in Morris, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Thor Thorson [Martha], and was educated in Morris schools. On Jan 15, 1908, she was married to Emely J. Enerson in the home of her parents in Morris. The couple farmed near Morris until 1917, when they came to the Estherville area where they farmed until retirement. Mrs. Enerson lived on the farm until November, 1972.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Lillian) Dahl of Thompson; two sons, Alfred of Gruver and Roy of rural Estherville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Severin Aarness, Minneapolis; three brothers, Thomas Thorson of Sidney, Mont., Art Thorson of Marseilles, Ill., and George Thorson of Seneca, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, two brothers and four sisters.
