Sandra K. Thomas, daughter of Duane and Geraldine (Kunert) Curry, was born on December 28, 1954. She passed away at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa on January 31, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Sandy attended Lincoln Central High School. Following high school she attended cosmetology school. She worked at various local businesses, before she began her work at Dairy Queen. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Sandy is survived by her son Shawn Friesner and his wife Amy of Estherville and their children Makayla Harless, Dustin Friesner, Hadley Friesner, and Makayla Guthie.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Billy Curry and Tom Curry.

A funeral service was held Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville.
