Eric Justin Kirchner, son of Larry and Janet (Loe) Kirchner, was born on January 27, 1980 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2020 in Cass Lake, Minnesota at the age of 40 years.

Eric graduated from Estherville Lincoln Central High School. He has been employed at AGCO for almost eight years. He was a hard worker, but a secret softie at heart. He loved music, especially punk rock! He was an avid hunter and fisherman, belonging to Ducks Unlimited for many years. Eric loved his old black pick up. He also loved to cook, but most of all he loved his kids dearly.

Eric is survived by his life partner, Sarah Luckey; their children, Shiloh and Keegan Kirchner of Estherville; his parents, Larry and Janet Kirchner of Estherville; his siblings, Jon Kirchner and son, Hayden Work of Armstrong, Iowa; Chelsea and Lyle Clarken along with children, Harper and Hazel of Estherville, and Morgan Kirchner of Olyphant, Pennsylvania and his sister-in-law, Rhonda (Rick) Fenner of Truman, Minnesota. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Josh, Chelci and their son, Parker Fenner of Mount Vernon, South Dakota; his grandparents, Esther Loe of Estherville and Darrel and Karen Kirchner of Gruver, Iowa and great-grandmother, Ida Klinkenborg of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eric is preceded in death by his grandfather, Peder Loe and great-grandparents, Russel Klinkenborg and Don and Evelyn Kirchner.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private family service was held.
