Rosella Hatlie Ross, was born on April 7, 1922 in Gary, South Dakota to Henry and Annie (Daniels) Schroeder. She passed away on August 18, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville at the age of 98 years.

At a young age the family moved to Titonka, Iowa where she attended school. She was married to Anthony Jandl, Jr, to this union one daughter, Delilah, was born. Anthony passed away in 1942. On April 18, 1946, Rosella was united in marriage to Willie E. Ross in Wellsburg, Iowa, to this union twins were born Arthur and Arnita. The family made their home in Crystal Lake. Following Willie's death in 1973, Rosella made her home in Estherville. She worked at Berkley's for 25 years.

Rosella was a member of the United Methodist Church in Estherville. She enjoyed crocheting and baking in her free time. She made over 100 afghans.

Rosella is survived by her daughter Arnita Ross of Estherville; her son-in-law Marvin Peters of Manly, Iowa; four grandchildren, Kevin (Debbie) Peters, Rhonda (Darrick) Sellergren, Julie (Lyle) Peters and Travis (Erica) Ross; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, daughter Delilah Peters, son Arthur Ross, step sons James Bulten, and Edward Hubbard, and step daughters Lillian Niemants and Beverly Turk. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Harry (Annie) Schroeder, Clarence (Marie) Schroeder, and Warren (Ruth) Schroeder.
