Heather Richelle was born on August 12, 1991 at Lake Charles, LA. In 1998, at the age of seven, Heather, along with her mother, Julia K. Rein, and her two sisters, Ashley and Chelsea, moved to the Armstrong area. She was introduced to the Nicoson clan in 2007.
Following graduation from Armstrong-Ringsted High School in 2010, she attended and graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in 2012. She then moved to Louisiana to finish her college internship at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. After she graduated she was offered a job as a respiratory therapist which she accepted and was working there at the time of her death.
Heather had a love of life and family and her daughter Teagan was the center of that. She enjoyed cooking, hunting, frogging, 4-wheel mudding and track. During her senior year in high school, she was a member of the 2010 track team that went on to state. They did not come out on top, but they were on top of the world because they made it there.
There was almost nobody that she couldn't stop and just chit chat with. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was a humble and kind person.
Heather was preceded in death by her "Paw Paw" John Goins and Grandpa Rein.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Teagan Leigh Higdon and Teagan's father, Heath Higdon of Jonesville, LA; her father, Hank Rein and his wife Margie of Natchez, MS; mother, Julia K. Rein and Dean Nicoson of Armstrong; sister, Ashley Nicole Rein and Trevor Miller and their children, Lauren Jenkins, Autumn Miller, Phoenix Miller, and Mikayla Miller; sister, Chelsea Rein and Jonny Hauptmann and their children, Ellie Loftis and Paxton Rein; brother, Steven Dwayne Nations and fiance Tyler Weadock and their children, Aries Weadock and Axiel Nations; brother, Tyler Nations; paternal grandmother, Patsy J.
