Lydia May [Mae] Myers
Lydia May Myers, 66, Cedar Rapids resident for 24 years, died at the home of her brother, Bert Myers, 1127 Ninth street NW, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Miss Myers was born Oct. 13, 1879, at Toddville, and came to Cedar Rapids from Sioux City in 1922.

Surviving, in addition to her brother, Bert, are five other brothers, W.R. Myers of Cedar Rapids, J.W. Myers of Estherville, W.C. Myers of Mason City, George Myers of Kansas City, Mo., and R.W. Myers of Estherville.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Estherville.

The body will be taken from the Turner chapel to Mahlum-Sandin funeral home at Estherville, where funeral services will be held Saturday. Friends may call at the Turner chapel until 9 p.m. Thursday. (Cedar Rapids Gazette, Cedar Rapids, IA, February 21, 1946)

Lydia Myers of Cedar Rapids Dies; Burial To Be Here
Lydia Myers of Cedar Rapids died suddenly at 7:10 Wednesday night at her home there. The body was sent to Estherville for burial and arrived Friday.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mahlum and Sandin chapel with the Rev. Fred D. Sawyer and the Eastern Star in charge.

Her survivors include six brothers, W.J. Myers and R.W. Myers, of Estherville, W.C. Myers, Mason City; Bert Myers and William Myers of Cedar Rapids and George Myers, Kansas City. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, February 28, 1946)
