Funeral services for Carmen Renee Bohm were held on Monday, April 28, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Estherville, Iowa. Pastor Lynn A. Potter officiated the services and Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Casket Bearers were Marty Bohm, Holden Bohm, Kevin Weber, Jeremy Weber, Don Edwards and Casey Edwards.

Carmen Renee Bohm, the daughter of Raymond and Cleo (Weller) Bohm was born August 25, 1961, in Denison, Iowa and departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the Avera Holy Family Hosptial in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 46 years old.

She began her education in Wayne, Nebraska and graduated from Estherville High School in 1979, when she began working at the ILCC Cafeteria. Then she worked at the Argus Leader Newspaper in Sioux Falls and later at the Estherville Daily News in Estherville. She spent the last 15 years working at Pure Fishing in Spirit Lake.

Carmen was a single parent and the mother of two children, Savanah, 13 and Levi, 12. Her life was her kids, her family and many friends and co-workers. She enjoyed taking her children on vacation to different states each year. She had a passion for going to Rummage sales. She was always an Elvis fan and had a room full of Elvis memorabilia.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Savanah and Levi; her grandma, Marcella McCoid; mother, Cleo Bohm; brother, Marty Bohm and his wife Barb and their two children, Melia and Holden all of Estherville; two sisters, Cindi Weber and her husband, Kevin of Emmetsburg and their children, Jeremy, Tyler and Bethany; Shannon Edwards and her husband, Don and their three sons, Casey, Riley and Zach of Estherville and her aunt, Kandi Terwilleger and her husband, Mark of Graettinger and many other relatives.

She has been preceded in death by her father, Raymond; maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville, Iowa. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, April 30, 2008)
