Milford – Funeral services for Cyndi Louise (Prentice) Naig, 51, of Milford were held on Saturday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Milford with the Revered Bob Vaage officiating. Interment was held at St. John’s Cemetery in Cylinder. Cyndi died on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 in Sioux City.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1950 in Estherville, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Billings) Prentice.

Cyndi graduated from Estherville High School in 1968, Iowa Lakes Community College and cosmetology school in Spencer.

On April 24, 1976 she was married to Steve Naig at Depew. They are the parents of one son, Tjaden.

She worked at Younkers in Des Moines from 1972-1974. She also worked at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. For the past 15 years she was the director of the Milford Library. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Milford.

She is survived by one son, Tjaden Naig of Milford; two brothers, Robert Prentice of Estherville and Bert Prentice of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Beverly Titus of Graettinger and Marilyn Street of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Faye and Faith. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 9, 2001)
