Minneapolis, Minn. – Charles B. Anderson, 88, formerly of Estherville, died March 11 [1977] at the Veterans Hospital, St. Cloud, Minn. Services were held at the Thompson Brothers Funeral Home, Minneapolis, with interment in Lakewood Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson moved to Minneapolis in 1954, following Mr. Anderson’s retirement from the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad here, where he was a conductor. He was employed by the railroad for 34 years.

Mrs. Anderson is living at 918 East 22nd Street, Apartment 703, Minneapolis, Minn. 55404.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Grace [Fuller Whalen]; one daughter, Mrs. Lyle Bartleman, Estherville; two sisters [step daughters], Mrs. Harold Berry and Mrs. Everett Mason, both of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Anna Tirevold, Armstrong; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
