Mrs. William Turner Dies; Ill Several Months
Mrs. Williams Turner of Estherville died last night at 8 p.m. in the Park View clinic where she has been a patient for the past several months.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Methodist church with the Rev. Cecil J. Semans officiating. Burial will be made in the Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, three sisters and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 15, 1944)

Funeral services for Mrs. William Turner, who died Sunday evening in the Park View clinic, were held Wednesday afternoon.

Florence Schultz Turner, second daughter of Charles and Mary Schultz, pioneer settlers of Emmet county, was born March 22, 1883, in Joliet, Ill. She came to Iowa with her parents when she was a year old.

Her parents located on a farm five miles north of Estherville where she spent her childhood.

On Nov. 17, 1908, [per Iowa marriage records, 17 Nov. 1907] she was united in marriage to William M. Turner of Estherville. They resided during all their married life in Estherville with the exception of two years at Arapaho, Colo., and nine years at Bell, Calif.

Mrs. Turner was a faithful member of the North Star chapter of the Eastern Star and seldom missed a meeting while she leaved in Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schultz, and a sister, Mrs. August Peterson.

She is survived by her husband, William M. Turner; two brothers, Walter A. Schultz of Estherville and Frank Schultz of Pomona, Calif., and by three sisters, Mrs. Ida Leupold of Superior; Mrs. Fred Grantham of Ireton and Mrs. W.B. Simpson of Wichita, Kans. There are also five nieces and five nephews surviving. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 19, 1944)
