Obituary
Alonzo Elmer Huntley, son of Benjamin and Esther Huntley, was united in marriage to Miss Bessie Truck, Aug. 21, 1895. Seven children are living: David, who lives on a farm near home; Darrel of Wallingford and Roy, Benjamin and Harold Huntley at home; Mrs. Claude Howell of Osgood and Mrs. Jacob Zitterick of near Graettinger.

Mr. Huntley had enjoyed excellent health until about two years ago when he suffered a stroke of paralysis, six weeks ago he suffered a second stroke. He died Oct. 9. Besides his widow and children, eight grandchildren survive: Dorothy, Ardis May, Lee, Lila and Bessie Huntley, LaDon Ann Zitterick and Leonard Howell. One grandson, Donald Zitterick preceded him in death. His brothers are William of Cherokee and Jess and Daniel of Arnolds Park.

Funeral services were held in the M.E. church, Graettinger, by the Pastor Rev. Bolin. Burial at Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 13, 1936)
