Fairmont, Minn. – Funeral services for Ann D. Bringle, 97, of Leawood, Kan. Will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 1 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died on Tuesday, April 25 at her home in Leawood.

Visitation will be held from 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 30 and from 8 – 11 a.m. on Monday, May 1 at Olson Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the services at the church.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1902, the daughter of Charles and Christina (Paulson) Christian in Emmet County. She attended country school in Emmet County and also attended one year of business school in South Dakota.

On June 10, 1928, she was united in marriage to Elmer H. Bringle in South Dakota. She lived in Fairmont where she was manager of the children’s department at Wallace’s Department Store for many years.

She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. She loved the lake, sewing, knitting, playing bridge and making afghans for the family.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Olson, and her husband, Lynn of Leawood; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and eight brothers and sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 29, 2000)
