Child Dies
Ringsted – The little 3-year old daughter [Nancy Genevieve] of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Lau of Halfa was buried Thursday. She died Tuesday from a throat infection after being ill less than a day. Funeral services were held here at the Presbyterian church conducted by the Rev. W.O. Harper. (Mason City Globe Gazette, Mason City, IA, December 11, 1944)
