Services Today for Ann Krough
Funeral services will be held today, Jan. 28, for Mrs. E.J. (Ann) Krough of Emmetsburg. The Rev. Chester Waterman will officiate services at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery at Armstrong with Martin-Balls Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Margaret Goddard will provide organ music and accompany Henry Hankey as he sings “Amazing Grace.”

Casket bearers will be Larry Kelp of Terril, Elsworth Hauschen, Leo Sampson, John Mills, all of Emmetsburg, Alfred Koekenhoff of Graettinger and Jim Moser of Curlew.

Ann Krough was born Nov. 7, 1931, at Yankton, So. Dak., the daughter of John and Vera Webb. She was married to E.J. Krough at Sioux Falls, So. Dak., Sept. 6, 1968.

Mrs. Krough died Jan. 24 at her home in rural Emmetsburg reaching the age of 43 years.

Surviving are her husband, nine children; Steve at home, Donald of Emmetsburg, Mrs. Jay (Susan) Shellabarger of Ayrshire, Mrs. Charles (Lynn) Voigt of Des Moines, Pvt. 2nd Class Tom of the U.S. Army stationed in Goppingen, Germany, Beverly, Rich, Lois and Lori all at home; six grandchildren and one brother, Richard Webb of Osseo, Minn. (Emmetsburg Reporter, Emmetsburg, IA, January 28, 1975)
