Heart Attack Fatal to Milo Kesler
Milo Earl Kesler, 49, died of a heart attack yesterday at 3:15 a.m. at Cherokee. Kesler had been ill about a year and his condition became critical Sunday evening.Born Oct. 6, 1902 [per cemetery records 1901] at Armstrong [per Iowa Births index, Kossuth County, Iowa, October 6, 1901] Kesler received his early education at Armstrong.
On March 10, 1926 he was united in marriage to Anna Marie Gram.
Mr. Kesler farmed near Ringsted about four years, moving to southern Minnesota where he farmed for 14 years after which he spent the last nine years living in Estherville.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Orval Guinn of Armstrong, Irene and Linda Kesler of Estherville, one son, Junior Kesler of Estherville, two sisters, Mrs. Evalyn Conn of Armstrong and Mrs. Virgil Thackery [Thackrey] of Armstrong, two brothers, Keith Kesler of Armstrong and Ben Kesler of Emmetsburg, his father, Guy Kesler of Armstrong and one granddaughter, -- Guinn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the Methodist church in Armstrong with the Rev. Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the Armstrong Grove cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 8, 1951)
