Armstrong, Iowa – Services for Melissa Weisbrod, 23, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Armstrong, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Armstrong. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Weisbrod died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix, Ariz. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Armstrong. There will be a vigil prayer service 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Armstrong, is in charge of arrangements.

Melissa Lyn Weisbrod was born Oct. 17, 1980, in Fairmont, Minn., daughter of Roger and Tilla (McIntyre) Weisbrod.

Survivors include: parents, Roger and Tilla Weisbrod of Armstrong, Matthew Weisbrod of Apple Valley, Minn., and Mark Weisbrod of Armstrong. (Fairmont Sentinel, Fairmont, MN, September 1, 2004)
