Mrs. Fothergill of Armstrong Dies
Mrs. George Fothergill [Sarah May Harrison Fothergill] of Armstrong, 65, died yesterday afternoon at her home. She has been in ailing health for a number of years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church in Armstrong. Survivors include her husband and children, Floyd Fothergill, Miss Harriett Fothergill and Marvin Fothergill, all of Armstrong, Mrs. Ted Schacherer of Estherville, and Mrs. Rudolph Schroeder of Fairmont. One son, Glen, preceded Mrs. Fothergill in death. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 25, 1941)

Mrs. Ted Schacherer spent several days last week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fothergill at Armstrong during the sickness and death of her mother. Funeral services were held Sunday at Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 2, 1941)
