Armstrong – Funeral services for William “Gail” Dotson, 57, Armstrong, will be Tuesday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Armstrong, with the Rev. Donahue Sarff officiating and burial in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Dotson was born Sept. 20, 1917 near Ames to Clem and Florence Gochanour Dotson and was educated in Seneca, graduating in 1938. He was married to Marian Hanson June 17, 1944 at Fairmont and had lived in Armstrong all his life. For the past six years he had been employed by Arts-Way Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include his wife, three brothers, Vernon, Des Moines, Merlin, Humboldt, and Darrell, Rock Island, Ill.; two sisters, Gladys Eastman, Armstrong, and Noradel Larsen, Swea City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Friends may call at the Henry Funeral Home, Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 23, 1975)
