Armstrong – Rudy [Rudolph Estel] Dildine, 72, Amery, Wis., a former resident of Armstrong, passed away Saturday [May 3, 1975] at Amery. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Henry Funeral Chapel, Armstrong, with the Rev. Travis Cannaday of the United Methodist Church officiating and burial in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Dildine was born Jan. 30, 1903 in Armstrong to Horatio and Cordelia Dildine. He received his schooling in Arthur, Ill., and was married to Esther Odin on July 23, 1929 at Spencer. He farmed near Armstrong until 1950 when he moved to Amery where he operated a café.

Survivors include his wife and one sister, Gladys Haller, Minneapolis.
