Armstrong – Services for Ella Rose Danielson, 80, of Armstrong, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong with Pastor Paul Rothfusz and the Rev. A. Mitchell Juergens officiating. Interment will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. She died Tuesday, March 7, 1995 at Dolliver.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Armstrong.

She was born Nov. 22, 1914 at Meridan [Meriden], the daughter of John and Mabel (Ballantyne) Julius. She lived in the Cherokee area until her marriage to Morris Danielson. After his death she later married Hans Danielson. They moved to a farm north of Armstrong and lived until 1956 when they moved to a farm northeast of Dolliver and lived until 1989 when they returned to their home north of Armstrong. After retiring from farming she worked at Stokely’s in Fairmont.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, RLDS Women’s Group, WELCA at Nazareth Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Armstrong Senior Citizens. She taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include sons, David White of Richfield, Minn., Morris Danielson, of Littleton, Colo., James of Elyria, Ohio and Bob of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter Mrs. Clarence (Mary Rose) Rezac, of Dolliver; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers Dr. Loy Julius, Merced, Calif. and Dale Julius of Cherokee; sisters: Edna White and Alice Julius of Cherokee.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; one granddaughter; parents; one sister and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 8, 1995)
