Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Mariah [Benton] Cummins was held at the Methodist Church at two o’clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, November fourth. The clergyman for the services was Rev. M.D. Bush. Interment was in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Mr. [Mrs.] Emma Cummins was born June 5, 1863 in Ames, Ohio and died November 1 at her home. Mrs. Cummins is survived by many relatives and friends. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 18, 1941)
