Albert Clark
Alpha, Minn. – Graveside services for Albert Clark, 81, of Alpha, will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at the Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong. He died Thursday, Feb. 28, 1985 at the North Country Hospital, Bemidji, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji with visitation one hour before the service. The Cease Funeral Home of Bemidji is in charge of arrangements.

Clark was born May 18, 1903 at Albion, the son of Jacob and Mary (Croskey) Clark, he was raised and educated in the Marshalltown area. He moved with his parents to Barnsville, N.D. where they homesteaded a farm. He returned to Dolliver in 1922 and was united in marriage with Martha Swanson [Sampson] at Dolliver on Oct. 10, 1929. They farmed there til 1939 when they moved to Dunnell, Minn. and farmed til retiring in 1967 then moved into Alph. Mrs. Clark died in November, 1973.

Survivors include two sons: James Clark, Alpha and Bert Clark, Bemidji; three daughters: Mrs. Willis (Mae) Struthers, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. David (Jean) Boyer, Canon Falls, Minn. and Mrs. James (Elaine) Haugen, Bemidji; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Leonard, Marshalltown and Cecil, Albion.
