Maple Hill:
Mr. Bullington [William T.] died at his home in Denmark township of Dropsy Monday afternoon Sept. 14, after an illness of two weeks.

The deceased was born in Marion country in 1844 [Per cemetery records December 8, 1843], and was a resident of that place all his life till two years ago when he moved to Emmet county and settled in Denmark township. In his neighborhood he was widely and favorably known and was a favorite among his neighbors. He was a leader in the Methodist church at Pleasant Valley. He leaves a wife and six children. The funeral services were held at Pleasant Valley school house Tuesday Sept. 15, Rev. Carpenter of Armstrong conducting the services. The remains were interred in the Armstrong cemetery. Sept. 14, 1896 (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, September 24, 1896)
