R.O. Larson Services Held Today
Estherville – Rasmus O. Larson, 92, Estherville, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24, in Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today in Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stan Eyberg officiating. Burial was made in Palestine Lutheran Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Oscar Sunde, Archie Sunde, Howard Hatland, James Valen, Laurits Sunde and Henry Sunde.

Mr. Larson was born March 1, 1881 in Rolland, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Ole Larson. He farmed all his life in Emmet County and was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his three sisters, Mrs. Inga Glenndinning of Rapid City, S.D., Mrs. Anna Richardson of Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Martha Sunde, Estherville; a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 27, 1974)
