Estherville – Mrs. O.P. (Edna L. [Lydia]) Stow, 99, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1990 at Good Samaritan Center in Estherville. Private family service was held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Montei of the Dolliver Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Lincoln Township Cemetery, rural Dolliver.

Edna L. Cameron was born November 8, 1890 at Clark City, Ill., the daughter of William and Emma (Kinney) Cameron. She attended rural Kossuth County schools after moving with her family to Lone Rock at the age of 10. On Sept. 9, 1908, she was united in marriage with Oliver Stow at Algona. After marriage the couple lived in the Dolliver area from 1909 until 1979. She has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center since Sept. of 1979. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Dolliver.

Survivors include five grandchildren: Luann Basart, Ames; Marcia Huntsinger, Estherville; O. Perry Stow, North Mankato, Minn.; Jane Abbott, Mill Valley, Calif. and Mona Strenge of Estherville; 11 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Gerald (Mildred) Stow, Dolliver and Mrs. William (Luella) Stow, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957; parents; two sons; one granddaughter; one brother and four sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 10, 1990)
