Services in Church at Dolliver
Funeral services for Coyle Poffenberger, 57, Dolliver blacksmith, were held today in the Methodist church at Dolliver with the Rev. Yeager in charge. Burial was in the Dolliver cemetery.Mr. Poffenberger died Friday about noon in a local hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his widow and several sons and daughters. Was Dolliver Blacksmith for 12 Years
Dolliver, June 18 – C. Poffenberger, who has conducted a blacksmith shop in Dolliver for the past ten or twelve years, passed away at the Coleman hospital in Estherville Friday afternoon. Mr. Poffenberger had been in failing health for several years and his condition became serious only last Tuesday. His widow and two children Hattie and Harry survive. Funeral arrangements have not been completed at this writing.Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church in Dolliver, the Rev. Yeage in charge of the services. C. Poffenberger, blacksmith and resident of Dolliver for the past twelve years, passed away last Friday afternoon at an Estherville hospital where he had been taken for treatment. Funeral services were held in the Community church Monday afternoon with Rev. C.R. Yeager in charge. Mrs. Poffenberger, son, Harry, and daughter, Hattie, survive.
