John Paul Frerichs Dies at 43
John Paul Frerichs, 43, died at 6 a.m. today at his farm home a half mile southeast of Dolliver.

A heart attack caused his death. Although Mr. Frerichs had not been feeling well for the past few days here had been no indication of a heart condition.

He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Yeager, and five sons, Douglas 14, David 12, Danny 10, Daryl 6 and Dale 2. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Lena Frerichs of rural Dolliver, a sister, Ann of Dolliver and a brother, Carl, of Manchester, N.H.

Family funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dolliver Lutheran church, followed by public services at the church at 2 p.m. The Rev. W.G. Storm will officiate.

Burial will be in the Dolliver cemetery.

Mr. Frerichs was born July 3, 1920, on farm southeast of Dolliver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Frerichs. He received his education in the Dolliver schools.

He married Betty Yeager at Fairmont Jan. 14, 1948. He spent his entire life in Emmet county in the Dolliver area. Since his marriage he had farmed on the place southeast of Dolliver where he was living at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at the Reese Funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 13, 1964)
