Mrs. Ole Olson and daughter, Mrs. Tosdal, left Tuesday morning for Ortonville, Minn., in answer to a telegram announcing the serious illness of Louis Olson, a son and brother, who is well-known here. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, February 1, 1894)

Lewis Olson who has been residing in Dakota, died last Tuesday [February 6, 1894]. Two years ago he was engaged in business here with Iver Iverson. H.H. Tosdal is related to him by marriage. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, February 8, 1894)
