Mrs. Storhow, mother of Tom Storhow, went to Hardy Friday to live with her daughter, Mrs. Ole Apland. Mrs. Storhow is in very feeble health on account of age, and had to be carried on a cot. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, June 19, 1907)

Mrs. Ingeborg Storhow Died Sunday at Hardy, Iowa
Mrs. Ingeborg Storhow, widow of the late Thor Storhow, died Sunday [August 25, 1907] at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O.O. Apland of Hardy, in her eighty-eighth year. The remains were brought to Estherville for interment and were laid beside those of her late husband, who died in 1901, in the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery yesterday.

Ingeborg Udager was born at Skaanevike, Bergen, Norway, May 17, 1820, and was united in marriage with Thor Storhow in 1855. Emigrated to America in 1856, settling first in Winneshiek county, moving to Story county in 1865. She came to Emmet county twenty-five years ago and has resided here almost continuously since.

She is survived by nine children: Henry of Chelan, Washington; Thor of Oklahoma; Thomas of Wallingford; Oliver of Portland, Oregon; Ole of Chicago; Mrs. Ben B. Thompson of Estherville; Mrs. O.O. Apland of Hardy; Mrs. John Sabo of Belgrade, Minnesota; Mrs. Alice Wilson of New York. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, August 28, 1907)
