Mrs. Christine Goss
Mrs. Christine Goss, 70, of 316 Commercial St., died Thursday [June 24, 1954] at Allen Memorial hospital of complications incident to her age. She had been hospitalized for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Goss was born in Lake Mills Sept. 30, 1884, to Anfin and Margaret Johnson Severson. She lived in Lake Mills, Estherville and Boone, before moving to Waterloo a year and a half ago.

She was married in 1904 to Charles R. Goss in Estherville. Mr. Goss died in 1928.

Surviving are a son, Richard C. Goss, 926 Logan Ave.; and a daughter, Mrs. Betty Calson, 316 Commercial St.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel. The Rev. Warren K. Martin, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church, will officiate.

Burial will be at Midwest Garden of Memories. (Waterloo Daily Courier, Waterloo, IA, June 25, 1954)
