Bendix Paulson
Bendix Paulson passed away at his home on North Tenth street, Friday, Dec. 31 [per gravestone January 1, 1921], after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted at the home by the Rev. S.A. Berge on Monday last and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery.

Bendix Paulson was born in Denmark, July 12, 1849 [according to gravestone July 21, 1850]. He was married in Denmark to Minnie Nelson and they emigrated to America shortly after their marriage. For about forty years they lived on a farm near Upsola, Minn. Last February they came to Estherville and built a home on North Tenth street where Mr. Paulson died. He leaves to mourn his loss his faithful wife Mrs. Jacob Johnson of this city and Henry, Minnie and Arthur. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, January 5, 1921)

Bendix Paulson Dead
Bendix Paulson passed away at his home on North 10th street, Friday, Dec. 31, after a lingering illness. Mr. Paulson was born in Denmark, July 12, 1849. Shortly after his marriage he immigrated with his wife to this country. They settled down on a farm near Upsota, Minn., which continued to be their home for about forty years. Last February they moved to Estherville where they built a home near their daughter, Mrs. Jacob Johnson. Mr. Paulson is survived by his faithful wife and six children, Mrs. Geo. Sawyer, Mrs. Jacob Johnson, Henry, Albert, Minnie and Mrs. Doris Wermager.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Monday afternoon by Rev. S.A. Berge of the Lutheran church. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, January 5, 1921 / Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, January 5, 1921)
