Died – In Estherville, October 21st, 1892, of pneumonia and whooping cough, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. Oskerson, Mabel Ella Smonson, infant daughter of Nels and Lena Simonson, of Emmetsburg, aged six months. Rev. A.R. Toothacre conducted the exercises at the Oskerson home, and the interment was made in the cemetery north of town. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, October 27, 1892)

Died – Oct. 18th, of pneumonia and whooping cough, Mable Ella, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simonson, of Emmetsburg, age six months. The funeral was held at Mrs. Oskersons, Friday of last week, Rev. Toothacre conducting the services. The young parents are accorded the sympathy of all in the loss of their baby.
