Erick Erickson Dead
Erick Erickson died Friday, November 8th, at his home one mile south of Huntington after an illness of several months of cancer of the stomach. Deceased had been a resident of Emmet county for many years. He was born in Polk county, Iowa, September 24th, 1870. His father died when he was very young and he was raised by the Henry Johnson family in Ellsworth township. A mother and two sisters and a wife and four children are left to mourn his untimely death. Funeral services were held at the Norwegian-Lutheran church on Sunday and the remains interred in the cemetery north of town. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, November 13, 1912)
