Estherville – Services for Anna [Wike] Tangeros, 91, Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Obert Rust officiating. Interment will be in the Estherville Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Tangeros died Monday [October 30, 1978] evening at the Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services Friday.

She was born May 12, 1887, at Voss, Norway, and came to the United States at the age of 21, settling in Estherville where she had relatives living.

She was married to Knut Tangeros on Sept. 17, 1910, in Estherville and worked at the P.G. Gray Company for many years. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center in 1965.

Mrs. Tangeros was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church, where she also was past president of the Ladies Aide.

She is survived by one son, Leonard Tangeros, Estherville; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 1, 1978)
