Rites Tuesday for Elida Larson
Funeral services for Thea Elida Larson, 50, former Estherville resident who died Wednesday [September 3, 1952] in Seattle, Wash., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sternborg funeral home, the Rev. H.G. Hinderaker officiating. Burial will be in the Norwegian Lutheran [Estherville Lutheran] cemetery.

Miss Larson died Wednesday morning in a Seattle hospital where she had been working as a pharmacist. She had been ill with cancer.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Larson, brother and sister-in-law of the late Miss Larson, have been in Seattle for the past two weeks and are returning here today. The body of Miss Larson will be sent here for services and burial. Her survivors in this area are her mother, Mrs. Sam Larson, and three brothers, Irvin and Levi or Estherville and Milton of Huntington. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 6, 1952)
