Estherville – Services for Maxine Helle, 73, of Estherville, will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Arlyn Norris and Pastor Jane Johnston officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997 at Holy Family Health Services.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Henry-Olson-Furhman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born April 21, 1924 at Jackson, Minn. the daughter of Fred and Helen (Brommerich) Trumble. She received her education at the Harding High school in St. Paul, Minn.

On Oct. 24, 1947 she married Eugene Helle in St. Paul. After marriage they lived in Denver, Colo. In 1948 they moved to a farm east of Estherville; then in 1958 the couple moved into Estherville. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a son, Greg, of Milford; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Pamela) Johnson, Janesville, Minn.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Roger Trumble of Grand Rapids, Minn. and Fred Trumble, of the Twin Cities, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and three brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 21, 1997)
